What is happening in the world today brings back a lot of reasons why I took a social media break in the first place. I hid from the news of covid and from everything else it infected. The last 6 months I didn't dare turn on the radio. I was avoiding the harsh realities of the world around me. Staying in my little bubble with Owen and the girls is how I coped. 6 months of radio silence (literally) helped me reflect and refocus.
Not a day goes by where I don't think of the mothers and people of Ukraine. While the gas prices are increasing here, there's a war going on over there.
